Nike has never had problems with retro sneakers. With a vast back catalog to choose from, they will always have sneakers. From restoring iconic Air Jordans to Dunks and various Air Max silhouettes, Nike has had a history of reviving older models and making them popular repeatedly. Debuting in 2013, the Nike Air Max 2013 hit the retail shelves in multiple colorways. After sporadic comebacks over the last decade, in 2022, the famous streetwear brand Stussy put their twist on the model. In 2024, Nike will keep the silhouette on the shelves with new releases, such as the upcoming Today Was a Good Day edition.
The Nike Air Max 2013 Today Was a Good Day stands out with warm sunset vibes. The black-based upper features a gradient pimento to a bright ceramic design. A bold red Swoosh on the side perfectly matches the gradient color scheme. Red is also found on the insole via the oversized Nike Swoosh and the Air Max branding on the tongue. All this sits atop a full Max Air cushioned midsole and solid black rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max 2013 Sunset is set to release in Summer 2024. They will be available at Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $180.
