As the wait for Madden 24 grows shorter, EAÂ Sports is linking with Nike to create an Air Max 90 for the occasion. Nike has graced the sneaker in football-like leather and the colors of the NFL while encouraging you to "Play Like Mad."
The Nike Air Max 90's upper is adorned with brown pebbled leather on the mudguard, midfoot, and vamp evoking the familiar texture of a football. A darker, smooth leather then serves as the base layer. The tongue forgoes the usual Nike Air Max branding and instead features the EA Sports logo. Inside, the insole is graced with the NFL logo. On the lateral side, the phrase "PLAY LIKE MAD" is debossed into the brown leather overlay adjacent to the usual Nike and Air max branding in gold. The midsole is crafted in black, while a blue rubberized portion appears near the heel and encapsulates the exposed Air unit. The outsole is a vibrant mix of white, blue, and red, which are, of course, the colors of the NFLÂ logo.
The EA Sports x NFL x Nike Air Max 90 Play Like Mad will release September 2nd, 2023. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
