With that said, Nike is really putting this theory to the test this year with the upcoming Nike Air Max 97 "Black Patent Pink."
While this colorway isn’t made for everyone, there’s no doubt that this unique combination of colors works quite well together. You wouldn’t usually see black and pink tones placed side-by-side like this, but on this AM 97 the contrast actually complements each other beautifully. Working on top of a breathable mesh base, slick patent leather makes its way throughout the rest of the sneaker. Embroidered Swoosh logos hit the side panels and tongue, and underneath it all, you’ll find a clean white midsole and outsole, complete with the full-length Max Air unit that the 97 is renowned for.
