For Hangul Day 2022, Nike has already unveiled a unique Air Max 1, complete with a blocked out bubble in the heel. As they continue to celebrate the Korean Alphabet Day, the Nike Air Max 97 has also joined in on the mix, complete with a blocked out bubble of its own.
A women's exclusive, the Nike Air Max 97 "Hangul Day" comes in a clean black, white, light silver, and coconut milk colorway. The premium, black-based upper features 3M reflective detailing and a suede mudguard. More premium features come via the light silver colored tongue. The plastic overlay on the sides is labeled "나이키" in honor of the Korean alphabet. All of this sits atop a coconut milk-colored blocked out, Max Air cushioned midsole, finished off by a translucent outsole.
The Nike Air Max 97 Hangul Day W is set to release on December 6th, 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, both online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing, retail is set at $190. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay in the loop on the latest in sneakers, streetwear, and more.
