While Nike celebrates 35 years of Air Max, the Air Max 97 also has a milestone of its own in 2022. Turning 25, NSW is set to drop numerous classic colorways, including the twist on the OG “Atlantic Blue.” Fresh for the summer, the Nike Air Max 97 has surfaced in “Metallic Silver Chlorine Blue."
Keeping things simple and clean, this AM 97 OG features a metallic silver and midnight navy blue-based upper. 3M reflective detailing can be seen throughout, when the sneaker catches light in various angles. A white liner, midsole, and stripe above the mudguard help to break up the dark tones this sneaker is covered in. Finishing things off are chlorine blue accents via the Swoosh logos on the tongue tag and side panels, as well as on the back heel pull tab and visible Max Air cushioning.
The Nike Air Max 97 OG Metallic Silver Chlorine Blue is set to release on July 29th, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide, in-store and online. Coming in unisex sizes, retail is set at $185 for men and women. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
