Air technology has evolved from Nike for decades, with yearly innovations as part of the brand’s Air Max Day/Air Max Month celebrations in March. This year, Nike is set to introduce the Air Max DN, a sneaker that promises to redefine comfort and style with its latest Air Max technology. Unveiled in over seven launch colorways and seen in other renditions like Hyper Royal, White Racer Blue, and a Supreme collaboration, the Air Max DN’s release lineup expands with a new women’s exclusive Half Blue colorway.
The Nike Air Max DN Half Blue, like other DNs, continues to utilize a textile base layer with a haptic secondary layer, offering both durability and tactile appeal. The top half of the Air Max DN is adorned in a serene half blue hue, beautifully contrasted against the white secondary layer. White TPU accents outline the upper's edge and wrap around the silver TPU shank at the midfoot, enhancing the sneaker's structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
Branding elements include the Air Max DN logo on the tongue and heel, which pays homage to the iconic Tuned Air logo of the Air Max Plus. The design is completed with a white phylon sole unit housing the Dynamic Air unit in the heel. This innovative sole features a dual-chamber, four-tubed Air configuration, meticulously engineered to provide unparalleled comfort with 15 psi in the rear two tubes, and 5 psi in the front tube, all resting atop a white and black rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max DN Half Blue W will release on April 15, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for updates on raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
