The eclectic neighborhood of Brixton on the south side of London is a cultural melting pot of art, music, and food. Although the neighborhood itself is primarily a residential neighborhood, the open-air market is home to an extensive range of food and goods from their Afro-Caribbean population and a melting pot of cultural diversity. To celebrate this vibrant neighborhood, Nike is releasing a colorway of the Air Max Plus that not only looks good but will provide all-day comfort as you roam the market of Electric Avenue.
This Nike Air Max Plus "Brixton" edition is covered in black graffiti print, as a sunset-like gradient of colors ranging from orange to yellow, and green to blue acccent it. The shiny black toe cap contrasts the faux-snake skin along the mudguard that runs all the way up through the heel. The same faux snakeskin print finds itself on the tongue of the sneaker, with a retro Nike Air hexagon logo in orange. The full-length Max Air midsole features columns in red at the forefoot and two-toned columns in red and yellow at the heel. The air units are encapsulated in a white and black midsole, with a black and red rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max Plus Brixton is set to release on July 28th, 2022 exclusively in Europe. The sneakers will be released on Nike EU and at select Nike Sportswear retailers for a retail price of $185. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
