It looks like the Air Max Plus will be making a pretty big comeback in 2023. First released back in 1998, the Sean McDowell-designed sneaker will be celebrating its 25th birthday next year. After checking out the "Marion Frank Rudy" and the "Animal," we're now taking our first look at the Nike Air Max Plus "Fire & Ice" Pack. While this certainly isn't the first time that the Oregon-based sportswear company has released a collection of this name, this version is definitely our favorite one yet.
Taking on the late-'90s icon, the "Fire & Ice" Pack comprises of two colorways. The first one is set alight in light crimson tones, while the second one is drenched in baltic blue hues. Both pairs feature engineered mesh constructions that fade into white, and a glossy caging system that wraps around the entire upper. You'll also find small Swooshes across the laterals and medials, and a black leather mudguard that surrounds the outside of the shoe. Chunky TN Air Max midsoles sit underfoot for extra comfort and cushioning, complete with a series of visible bubbles for that vintage vibe that we all know and love.
Releasing sometime in Spring 2023, the Nike Air Max Plus Fire Light Crimson GS and Nike Air Max Plus Ice Baltic Blue GS will be a gradeschool exclusive and will retail for $145 at Nike and select retailers worldwide.
