It's going to be a pretty remarkable year for the Air Max Plus. 2023 marks the Sean McDowell-designed silhouette's 25th anniversary, and to celebrate this quarter-of-a-century milestone, Nike will be dropping a vast range of coveted colorways. After checking out the "Dusk," "UCLA," and the "Vachetta Tan" earlier this season, we're now taking our first look at the Nike Air Max Plus Premium "Pale Vanilla," and it's as sweet as it sounds. Understated yet unique, here's everything that you need to know.
Working on top of a summit white neoprene base, palm tree-inspired embroidery flourishes across the upper in a pale vanilla hue. The Air Max Plus' signature hexagonal logos adorn the tongue and heel, while a Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sidewalls. A dash of suede wraps around the bottom of the sneaker, and all of this sits on top of a chunky Air midsole that's as comfortable as it gets. This unit is equipped with a series of exposed Air bubbles for that classic look that we all know and love. It's then finished with a sanddrift rubber outsole that perfectly ties the colorway together.
As you might have already gathered, the Nike Air Max Plus Premium Pale Vanilla W will release exclusively in women's sizes this Spring 2023. Set to launch via Nike and select retailers online and in-store, retail is set at $185.
