Since its debut in 1998, the Nike Air Max Plus has been a fan-favorite in the sneaker community for its distinctive design and unparalleled comfort. As one of the most iconic models in the Air Max line, the Plus continues to make waves well past its original release. This July, Nike is set to release a striking new iteration for women: the Air Max Plus Violet Dust High Voltage (W), a stunning combination of vibrant hues.
Retaining its classic construction, this women’s-exclusive Air Max Plus features a gradient design transitioning from deep purple "Violet Dust" to a stark white across the mesh upper. The shoe's signature wavy TPU overlays provide structure and style while maintaining the unmistakable Air Max Plus look in bright metallic silver. Navy accents hit the nylon eyestays and suede tongue patch, while we see high voltage take over the midfoot Swoosh. More silver-ish hits find a home on the heel tab and sockliner, and the Tuned Air-cushioned midsole features high voltage hits on the Air units. Rounding out the look is a black and yellow outsole.
The Nike Air Max Plus Violet Dust High Voltage W is set to release in July 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $185.
