The Nike Air Max Pulse Summit White Pure Platinum Safety Orange Nods To Prototypes

While many may prefer retro silhouettes in the Air Max series, Nike is constantly innovating on this front. Its latest model under the Air Max banner, the Air Max Pulse, is getting a big push over the next few months. The Swoosh planning a handful of colorways, including “White Pure Platinum” and “Black Anthracite.” Joining this list is a clean “Summit White Pure Platinum Safety Orange.”
Across the upper sits a summit white mesh with a black Nike Swoosh accenting along the midfoot. Pure platinum leather overlays wrap around the toe back to the heel, while pops of safety orange can be found on the mini Swoosh along the lateral midfoot and on the new Air Max logo atop the tongue. More contrast comes back on the heel, with an orange tab hosting a black Nike Swoosh. The shoe sits atop a two-tone outsole with pure platinum foam in the front and white mesh in the back, featuring an Air Max 270 bubble in the heel and pure platinum, white, and black rubber outsole below. This color scheme may look familiar to those who are into Nike’s premium running sneakers as this Air Max Pulse resembles the "Prototype" colorway on the Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% 3.
The Nike Air Max Pulse Summit White Pure Platinum Safety Orange will be released online and in-store on July 27th, 2023, through Nike and select retailers.
