Nike has been synonymous with innovation and style, constantly redefining the sneaker landscape with new models and designs. The brand has a storied history of creating iconic Air Max sneakers and already introduced the world to a brand new silhouette, the Air Max Pulse, back in March. Now, we’re getting first looks at the latest Air Max design, the Nike Air Max Solo, ready for lifestyle wear.
Across the upper sits a lightweight, breathable mesh base featuring felt-like overlays on the toe, vamp, and heel. Canvas makes up part of the eyelets, while we see another hit of felt on the topmost portion of this panel. Along the midfoot, a prominent Swoosh features embroidered piping. Nike Air and Air Max branding land on the heel and tongue, respectively, while the insole features the former of the two logos. Underfoot, the midsole comes with dual-density foam and hosts a small Air unit in the heel. Rounding out the design is the rubber outsole with a waffle-like traction pattern. For its launch, the Air Max Solo will come in four different colorways: “Black Clear Jade Track Red,” “Phantom White,” “White Black,” and “Light Silver Pink Oxford Blue Tint” (W).
The Nike Air Max Solo in "Black Clear Jade Track Red" will release July 13 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. The "Phantom White" and "White Black" versions will then follow July 20. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
