The Women’s Nike Air Max Sunder Hemp Releases Summer 2025
PublishedNike reintroduced the world to the Air Max Sunder, an early 2000s Air Max model that gained a cult following amongst die-hard Air Max heads when it retroed the sneaker in August 2024. Since then, the model has been subject to collaborations with Kids of Immigrants and has appeared in multiple inline makeovers, such as the Gore-Tex-coated Bold Berry or the women’s Light Army. Now, a new women’s exclusive color in Hemp has emerged ahead of Summer 2025.
The updated materials on the upper distinguish this pair from a traditional Air Max Sunder release. Instead of the stretchy neoprene-like mesh, the base layer comes from premium tumbled leather in the titular hemp hue. This design element stretches across the entire upper base layer, while the iconic mudguard strays from its nubuck build for a tonal leather finish and features TPU plugs in a light cream color.
Metallic Silver accents appear on the mini Swoosh on the midfoot, the Air branding along the vamp, the Swoosh on the pull tab, and the hardware of the tan-shaded zipper ring. The tonal hemp laces, metallic silver embroidered Swoosh, and internal bootie construction are covered here. Underfoot, the sneaker comes with a light cream foam midsole featuring exposed Air units in the forefoot and heel paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max Sunder Hemp W will release in Summer 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is $180.
