Nike Basketball has had multiple golden ages, with the ‘90s producing some of the most recognizable footwear. During this period, Nike developed the Uptempo lineup, most famously associated with Scottie Pippen and the Air More Uptempo silhouette. While this sneaker is still released in new colorways to this day, and we expect the sneaker to return in its Olympic rendition, other iterations in the lineup, like the Air Max Uptempo 95, have been vaulted. Luckily for fans of the series, the Air Max Uptempo 95 is slated to return in time for its 30th Anniversary in 2025, as Sole Retriever has already confirmed the release of the OG White Black Teal. Now, we know that after the White Photo Blue Black pair releases in Summer 2025, another colorway is coming, the Bulls rendition.
Featuring OG construction, this Bulls iteration of the Air Max Uptempo will feature a leather and nubuck upper, primarily in white and black shades. Black nubuck graces the toecap and the mudguard, while white leather is used on the base layer and the top portions of the sneaker. AIR text is spelled out on the eyestays in a tonal white finish while accenting red hits come via the Swoosh on the midfoot and the bungee rope pull tabs on the tongue and heel. Underfoot sits a white foam midsole with a full-length Max Air unit paired with a white outsole with red cutouts throughout.
The Nike Air Max Uptempo 95 Bulls releases in Summer 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
