Even though the Air More Uptempo is almost three decades old, its iconic design still remains unchanged. A retro silhouette that made an unexpected comeback last year thanks to its chunky proportions and retro looks, if for whatever reason you still don't have a pair in your daily rotation, perhaps the freshly-revealed Nike Air More Uptempo "Black Multi" will change your mind. Dropping as part of the American sportswear brand's Summer 2023 line-up, there are plenty of details here to unpack.
Featuring a full leather construction in black, the first thing that you'll notice is the oversized "AIR" branding across the lateral and medial sides. An element that's unique to the Uptempo, each individual letter has been outlined in racer blue, hyper pink, and bright crimson hues respectively. Complementary Swooshes make their way to the toebox and heel, and underfoot, the exposed bubbles have been done up in a fiery red color scheme that's sure to turn heads wherever you go. Interestingly enough, the tongue tab brand seems to be inspired by classic rock bands. Like the Air Force 1 High that we previewed earlier this week, "Nike" is written in a heavy metal-esque font, and the tag itself is covered with lightning bolts for a hardcore look and feel.
As you might have already gathered, the Nike Air More Uptempo Black Multi is set to release on March 10th, 2023. Retailing for $170 in men's sizes, they will also drop in GS sizing for $150.
