It's shaping up to be a pretty major year for the Air More Uptempo. After checking out the "Coconut Milk" and "Starfish" earlier this season (as well as the return of the Air More Uptempo Slide), we're now taking our very first look at the Nike Air More Uptempo "Light Iron Ore Industrial Blue." One of the latest colorways to hit the retro basketball shoe, which was famously worn by Scottie Pippen during the 1995-1996 NBA season, if you still don't have a pair in your collection you should definitely pay attention to this one.
Featuring more-or-less the same design as the OG, this Air More Uptempo boasts a light iron ore leather construction with perforations across the sidewalls for ventilation. Pull cords hit the tongue and heel for a rugged look and feel, and Nike Swooshes feature across the front and back, the latter of which comes in the form of a Jewel rendition. Underfoot, you'll find a particularly hefty Air midsole complete with exposed bubbles surrounding the unit, and of course, you can't talk about this vintage model without mentioning the oversized "AIR" branding that's plastered across the laterals and medials in an industrial blue hue.
If you're looking for a sneaker that's sure to turn heads both on the streets and on the court, the Nike Air More Uptempo Light Iron Ore Industrial Blue has your name written all over it. Releasing in Fall 2023, it will be available in men's sizes for $180 via Nike and select retailers worldwide. More colorways are set to be announced very soon, so hit us up on Twitter and download ourMobile App to find out everything that you need to know and much more!
