As the world gears up for the 2024 Summer Olympics, Nike is again at the forefront of celebrating this global event with its iconic footwear. Releases will include classics in Nike Basketball’s sneaker lineup, like the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 Protro, while we’ll see a new rendition with the Nike Calm Slide Olympic USA. The Air More Uptempo will also join these patriotic-themed sneakers as it's set for a comeback in its Olympic colorway.
Coming with the same construction and color blocking as the original, this Air More Uptempo combines nubuck and tumbled leather. The nubuck base has a rich navy finish, complemented by white tumbled leather on the toe, tongue, and the iconic "AIR" overlays. Navy and red accents on the Swoosh are present along the toe and tongue, respectively, adding to the patriotic theme. Underneath, the sneaker boasts a navy and white Uptempo midsole, with gold accents visible through the Air units, adding a touch of elegance to the athletic design. The outsole follows the same color scheme, completing the look with a white and navy combination.
The Nike Air More Uptempo Olympic will release August 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. The retail price is set at $170 for men's sizes, $140 for grade school sizes, $105 for preschool, and $85 for toddler sizes.
