Nike's Air Pegasus line has been a mainstay in the running community, evolving with cutting-edge technology and fresh designs. As throwback styles continue to trend, especially mesh-based runners, the Nike Air Pegasus 2K5 is set to make a bold return. Previously spotted in a White Black colorway and previewed in multiple colorways during a SNKRS Live showcase, the latest Peg 2K5 comes in Black Fire Red.
This iteration of the Air Pegasus 2K5 brings a bold aesthetic to the runner. Its upper has a red and black mesh base, complemented by black suede and synthetic overlays. The shoe's dynamic design is intensified by striking fierce pink accents, which outline the Swoosh and animate the tongue branding. More pops of pink are found lining the heel counter’s overlay, while the sockliner and insole get a black makeover. Underfoot sits a black foam midsole, accented with pink and red, that contains a full-length Nike Air unit, promising comfort and responsiveness. Rounding out the design is the black and red outsole featuring waffle traction.
The Nike Air Pegasus 2K5 Black Fire Red will release on February 23, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
