Going back to the 2010s, packs of sneakers from Nike Basketball dominated sneaker culture. This golden era of performance basketball models transitioning into lifestyle wear off the court included classic and revered collections, from the Galaxy Pack to the yearly collection of Christmas kicks. While retros from both of these collections have begun to make their way to the public, new performance models like the Greater Than (GT) series have also taken part in thematic collections, as seen with last year’s Christmas collection featuring the GT Cut 2, GT Jump 2, and GT Hustle 2. The latest round of GT models, GT Cut 3, GT Jump 2, and GT Hustle 3, are getting a holiday-ready makeover.
Color palettes across the three performance basketball models remain consistent, primarily in a green hue with red, gold, and coral pops seen on select details. Each sneaker retains its usual construction and performance features, from the ultra-cushioned ZoomX midsole of the GT Cut 3 to the dual Zoom Air units found on the GT Hustle 3. In contrast, the tongues all feature a ribbon embroidered in red to represent the gift-giving season. For the GT Jump 2, we see an olive green hue for its engineered mesh, while the GT Cut 3 and Hustle 3 come in sea glass and jade horizon, respectively. Vibrant hits of color are present within the tooling set-up on each, as well as a gradient gold speckle pattern to further bring home the Christmas tie-in. Finishing the look of all the pairs is the tonal outsoles.
The Nike Basketball Our Holiday Pack will release on December 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the GT Hustle 3 and GT Cut 3 will retail for $190 and the GT Jump 2 for $180.
