After checking out the Air Force 1 a few days ago, the Beaverton-based sportswear label has officially added the legendary Dunk to its "Athletic Company" collection with the Nike Dunk Low "Athletic Company." While the Swoosh is now worth billions and billions of dollars, back in the '60s when it was first being set up, it started off as an athletics brand that focused on college students, and that acts as the inspiration for this retro-inspired pack. A unique colorway that looks like it's been taken straight out of the archives, here's absolutely everything that we know so far.
As with the aforementioned AF1, this Dunk boasts a vintage color palette that nods back to the company's early days. Crafted from a full leather construction that's smooth to the touch, sail hues take on the toebox and heel, while yellow strike features on the lateral and medial midfoot panels. The rest of the upper is accented in gorge green for a look that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. This lush hue extends towards the Swooshes and insole, where you'll find an old school flag graphic and "Nike: The Sports & Athletic Company" branding, paying tribute to the Oregon label's collegiate origins.
The Nike Dunk Low Athletic Company is set to release in Spring 2023 in men's sizes with a retail price of $110. Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers.
