Nike's Dunk silhouette has long been the canvas for numerous creative transformations, each resonating with sneakerheads differently. As we approach the end of the year, Nike is dipping its toes into sartorial waters by merging elements of classic brogue sneakers with the beloved Dunk Low.
This upcoming Nike Dunk Low boasts an intricate design that feels nostalgic and fresh. White leather overlays cover the mudguard, eyestays, and heel. These sections, specifically the mudguard and heel, are adorned with meticulous perforations and extra stitching, drawing direct inspiration from the traditional brogue sneaker. Continuing this nod to sophisticated footwear, a tassel has been incorporated into the vamp and toe, showcased in shades of brown and cream. The metallic gold Swoosh lace dubrae is highlighted, offering a striking contrast to the brown wax laces and the distinct pinstripe tongue. This pinstripe motif is continuous on the toe box, quarter panel, and collar, ensuring a cohesive theme throughout. The design culminates in a sleek blacked-out midsole and outsole, providing a sturdy foundation to the artistic upper.
