Nike is no stranger to commemorating sports teams through footwear releases, whether direct collaborations or non-official nods via color schemes. The latter rings true for a green-shaded Dunk Low that seems to be a nod to the recent NBA champions, the Boston Celtics.
Sail shades clash with hits of black and stadium green to create this homage to the Celtics, placing the primary shade on the base layer leather panels. Stadium green, which isn’t quite the exact shade used by Boston’s NBA team, lands along the mudguard, essays, Swoosh, and heel tab. The black heel overlay breaks up the two-tone sail and green look, home to eyelets containing the sail lace set. Final details on the upper include a sail canvas tongue, black Nike branding on the woven tongue tag and heel tab, and sail mesh on the sockliner. The sail rubber midsole finishes the design and is paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Celtics W will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115.
