Day in and day out we get first looks at an upcoming Nike Dunk Low. While the sneaker's base design has remained the same since its original introduction in 1985, the materials that comprise it do get a mix-up every once in a while, as is the case with the upcoming Nike Dunk Low University "Grand Purple."
Essentially coming in a two-tone design, the silhouette gets dressed in a stark white with accenting purple leather placed throughout. On the toebox, midfoot panel, and heel overlay sits a white smooth leather contrasted by the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay’s purple leather. More hits on purple come courtesy of the cotton laces running up the white mesh tongue to the purple tongue tag and sockliner. One of the biggest changes comes in the form of the oversized Nike Swoosh, coming dressed in a black chenille with a teal piping surrounding the entire thing. Back on the purple heel tab, the Nike text is embroidered in the same teal shade as the Swooshes piping. Rounding out the look is the sail Dunk midsole and purple rubber outsole combo.
The Nike Dunk Low University Grand Purple is slated to release in December 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $120.
