We’re just days away from the release date of what is arguably 2022's most coveted release, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Lost & Found,” a recreation of the “Chicago” colorway that helped birth the culture around sneakers we all take part in. While this began on the AJ 1, we’ve seen countless models take on the iconic color combo with the Nike Dunk Low receiving a handful in the last few years. Now, we have an official look at a Split iteration of the model in the classic "Chicago" colorway
Featuring the classic all-leather upper we come to expect from the Nike Dunk Low, the model keeps things standard for a typical “Chicago” colorway, though there are slight changes to details throughout. Varsity red tumbled leather takes over the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay while white tumbled leather contrasts along the toebox, quarter panel, and collar. This same white shade continues on the lace set and split-designed tongue tag featuring a half vintage half contemporary font for the “Nike” text. Changing things slightly, the tongue gets a sail finish while the Nike Swoosh along the midfoot gets a split color design with the tip coming in its classic black hue while the rear comes in grey. Underfoot, a sail Dunk midsole gets paired with a tri-toned rubber outsole, coming in black, sail, and grey from heel to toe.
The Nike Dunk Low Split Chicago is set to release July 15through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
