Nike's Dunk Low silhouette is staying strong, making headlines three-plus years into its resurgence. The brand keeps the momentum with constant reinventions and new interpretations hitting the market. The latest to join the roster is the Dunk Low "Cordairoy," a fusion of fabric that twists what we typically expect to see from the Dunk Low. This pair appeared after we got official looks at premium renditions like the “Burgundy Crush” and “Oil Green.”
With aesthetics and materials that appear to defy the ordinary, the Dunk Low "Cordairoy" features a navy corduroy base layer on the upper. Contrasting this are the mudguard, eyestays, and heel, which blends white and brown on its canvas. But it doesn't end there; the iconic Swoosh along the midfoot also embraces a corduroy finish, appearing in a complementary tan shade that mirrors the heel tab. Laces come in sail, while the Nike-branded tongue tag above comes in white. Internally, the sockliner receives a quilted finish, while the insole comes in a matching navy shade. This sits atop a sail midsole, perfectly juxtaposed by a gum rubber outsole that completes the design.
The Nike Dunk Low Cordairoy will release November 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
