While the Nike Dunk began as a collegiate-focused basketball silhouette, it has since transitioned to become (arguably) the most popular casual sneaker under the wings of The Swoosh. Because of this, we’ve seen the model take on more playful colorways that stray from the original two-tone looks of the BTTYS series with the latest colorway coming with “Glow In The Dark” details.
Coming constructed out of leather across its entire upper, the sneaker appears almost radioactive due to the sheen of the venom green across the overlay while the underlays come in a slightly lighter glow green hue. Stark whites on the laces and tongue contrast these ultra-vibrant colors with the heel tab’s orange finish and the black Swoosh detail on the midfoot completing the contrasting details. The sneaker's most unique detail is a glow that appears under a blacklight, though the only portion that actually features GITD is the rubber outsole below. Rounding out this glow in the dark Nike Dunk Low is the white midsole with tonal white stitching details attaching it to the upper.
The Nike Dunk Low Glow In The Dark is set to release on June 14th, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is $110.
