Nike, as most footwear brands do, loves to release special colorways for holidays, special occasions, and anniversaries. Halloween is one of these days that often gets immortalized in sneaker form with spooky colors and themes dressing various silhouettes, though as of late the Nike Dunk has been the silhouette of choice. With the adult version coming in patent leather, the Nike Dunk Low Halloween (GS) is taking a different direction.
Dressed in smooth leather across the upper, the iconic Halloween colorways of orange and black get accented by white hits throughout the underlays. On the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, orange leather is present while the toebox, midfoot panel, and collar come in the aforementioned white. Orange laces run up the white tongue to an orange and black Nike branded tongue tag, complimenting the orange sockliner nearby. Running along the profile of the sneaker is a black Nike Swoosh, working back to the orange heel tab with black Nike branding embroidered atop. Rounding out the look is a white midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Halloween GS is slated to release in October 2022 season through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming exclusively in gradeschool, preschool, and toddler sizing, the retail price for GS pairs is set at $90.
