The sneaker world is certainly no stranger to colorways inspired by the most iconic superheroes and supervillains in comic book history. From Air Jordan 1 Highs that take after Miles Morales' Spider-Man, to a Reebok Workout Plus that pays homage to Lex Luther, we're now taking our very first look at the Nike Dunk Low "Joker." Seemingly influenced by the Dark Knight's arch nemesis, the Joker, if you want to put a smile on that face this season, then make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
While this isn't an official collaboration with DC Comics, it's quite clear that the American sportswear company was inspired by The Clown Prince of Crime for this Dunk. Working on top of a crisp white leather base, bold green overlays wrap around the rest of the upper, while the Swoosh, tongue tag, and heel badge are all accented with deep purple tones as a nod to Mr. J's signature outfit, more specifically, from the '60s era. All of this sits on top of a clean midsole, and it's finished off with a gum rubber outsole, finalizing the design.
Set to release sometime in 2023, the Nike Dunk Low Joker White will drop in men's sizes at Nike, the SNKRS app, and at select retailers in-store and online with a retail price of $110.
