The Nike Dunk Low has been a staple in sneaker culture since its debut in 1985. Lately, we’ve seen many higher-quality renditions gear up for releases later in the year, including “Rugged Orange” and “White Coconut Milk” colorways. The latest iteration, the Nike Dunk Low LX "Purple Ink," will stray from these vibrant and neutral-shaded color schemes and opt for a stealthy finish.
Featuring a mixture of premium suede, canvas, and leather across its upper, we see a combo of black and purple ink dress the sneaker from top to bottom. The purple ink overlays along the suede mudguard, eyestays, and heel, add a pop of color to the otherwise subtle sneaker. At the same time, black canvas takes over the toebox, quarter panel, and collar. Tonal purple ink laces contrast the black tongue and its black Nike-branded tongue tag. For our lone hits of leather, the Swoosh and heel tab get covered in purple ink, adding to the overall cohesiveness of the design. The sneaker is finished with a black rubber midsole and purple rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low LX Purple Ink W is set to release in Holiday 2023. They will be available through Nike and select online and in-store retailers. Coming in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
