With its history forever linked to collegiate programs, the Nike Dunk Low has been designed to fit every color palette under the sun, being remixed in multiple materials and makeups over its 35-plus-year history. Already spotted in FAMU and CAU Panther's colorways, the Nike Dunk Low is going back to its college roots and continuing its journey through HBCU schools, this time with the Nike Dunk Low North Carolina A&T.
Taking on a mixture of grey, black, and shades of white, the colorway pays homage to the Aggies through its accenting colors of gold and blue. Starting down on the white perforated leather toebox, a grey mudguard wraps around to the white eyestays hosting a gold set of laces with “Ayantee” text in black, tying in the school’s award-winning yearbook to this sneaker. Atop the gold mesh tongue is a tongue tag with North Carolina A&T’s logo coming in Aggie blue while the reverse has “From Greensboro With Love” text in black. Working back from the sail leather midfoot panel and black Nike Swoosh you’ll find a blue heel tab with the year 1891 embroidered in gold, calling back to the year the university was founded. Underfoot, a sail Nike Dunk midsole sits atop a semi-translucent clear sole with green and blue tie-dye underneath.
The Nike Dunk Low North Carolina A&T is set to release in October 2022 through select retailers located near North Carolina A&T's campus in Greensboro, North Carolina with an online drop through Nike set for October 25th, 2022. Releasing in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
