From its initial debut in 2001 as a Japan exclusive to its reintroduction in 2020, the Nike Dunk Low Plum has remained an iconic version of the silhouette. The Plum colorway was part of the Ugly Duckling Pack from 2001 and was later instrumental in heralding the Nike Dunk Low's resurgence nearly 20 years later. Following in the same footsteps as the Brazil, Nike is now set to bring back the Dunk Low Plum next year.
Keeping the SKU from its 2020 retro, we can expect an unwavering homage to this Dunk Low's original construction and color scheme. A deep purple suede dominates the mudguard, eyestays, and heel. A lighter purple shade complements the deep color of the suede toebox and quarter panel. Red accents make their presence felt on the laces, tongue tag, Swoosh, and heel tab, while a lavender hue envelops the mesh tongue and collar. The design is completed with a white midsole and red outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low SP Plum will release on March 21, 2024, through Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115.
