Remixing classic silhouettes is no hard task for Nike with their updated takes on the Dunk Low and AF1 becoming more and more common. For the Dunk, Nike created the “Scrap” model, a more sustainable take on the decades-old design that mimics a patchwork construction with leftover materials. Recently, images have emerged of an upcoming Nike Dunk Low Scrap “Mismatch.” edition.
The entire upper of the “Mismatch” look comes dressed in randomly colored overlays and underlays of silver, black, and white on both sides of each sneaker. Its leather, mesh, and suede overlays appear cut and placed as if they were pieced together with extra materials, really driving home the “Scrap” name. Contrasting colored stitching lands on the midfoot and heel tab, coming in shades of blue, pink, and red. Rounding out the entire look is the white Dunk midsole set to a blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Scrap Mismatch is set to release sometime in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and instore. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
