Outside of the recently seen slew of sneakers honoring the 50th birthday of hip-hop, a new pack of sneakers from Nike will be paying tribute to music. For the first colorway in this collection, the Nike Dunk Low is getting a “Supersonic” makeover.
Dressed in a multi-material build, the silhouette features a combination of neutral tones accented by a lone hit of blue on the upper. Seemingly drawing inspiration from music, a graphic emblazoned on the lateral heel overlay alongside a Swoosh logo mimics a soundwave. This motif extends to the insole, which features an image resembling a speaker on the right insert.
Tumbled white leather appears on the mudguard and eyestays, while grey nubuck forms theSwoosh and heel overlays. Black detailing is meticulously placed on the leather collar, tongue tag, and sockliner, accentuating the sneaker's sleek design. The aesthetic is completed with a classic white midsole and a semi-translucent blue outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Supersonic will release this fall through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
