A never-ending stream of Nike Dunk colorways continues to hit the net on what seems like a daily basis. Though many of these may look oddly similar to previous releases, Nike often surprises us with a new take on the model. For its latest colorway to be revealed, dubbed “Unlock Your Space," The Swoosh adds something we don't often see on the silhouette.
While gradient color schemes are nothing new to the Nike Dunk Low, this new “Unlock Your Space” colorway adds this transition of color to various portions of the upper. Around the mudguard, eyestays, heel, and Swoosh, we see multiple shifts between deep/light blues and purples with hits of white interspersed into the design. As for the underlays, smooth whites are applied to the toebox, quarter panel, tongue, and collar. Stitching details back on the heel feature the three shades found on the gradient pattern, with the “Nike” text above in a vibrant pink hue. Applying some more notable changes, the Nike text on the tongue and the graphic on the insole get a slight space-age-themed tweak. Rounding out the look is the white Dunk midsole paired with a semi-translucent rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Unlock Your Space (W) will release June 15 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
