Seemingly drawing inspiration from the beloved Nike SB Dunk High Waffle from 2016, this Dunk Low features a wheat-colored upper that exudes a warm, inviting vibe. The shoe's construction is a harmonious blend of shaggy suede and tumbled leather, with the suede forming the overlays and the leather creating the underlays. The midfoot of the sneaker showcases an eye-catching waffle pattern on the suede panel, paying homage to the shoe's namesake and adding a unique texture to its design.
This waffle effect extends to the tongue tag, further unifying the theme. The tumbled leather overlays on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel remain tonal, staying within the tan color palette. Complementing these elements is a creamy lace set and Swoosh accent, subtly contrasting the overall design. The shoe is finished with a tan midsole and outsole combination, maintaining the cohesive aesthetic and ensuring comfort and durability.
The Nike Dunk Low Waffle is set to release on February 17, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
