Few sneaker models command the same degree of demand as the Nike Dunk Low and SB Dunk Low. Over the years, these pairs have grown from performance basketball sneakers on the collegiate scene to iconic staples in the streetwear, skate, and sneakerhead communities. Securing a pair is no longer an elusive dream but a delightful reality as more and more pairs continue to hit the market. This is thanks to Nike's effort to increase availability, which will take a significant step forward this year with a massive restock of some of the most coveted Dunk Low colorways.
Dunk Day will be taking place on July 27, 2023 over on nike.com. This includes some of 2022s best releases, including the Dunk Low “EMB Chicago” and SB Dunk Low “BETRUE.” On top of the eight styles restocking, the brand-new Nike Dunk Low Twist in the “Panda” colorway will hit shelves for the first time.

Nike Dunk Low "Medium Olive" (W)

Nike Dunk Low Next Nature "Phantom Gold" (W)
Part of Nike's Next Nature program, the Nike Dunk Low Next Nature Phantom Gold (W) originally released in September 2022. As a "Next Nature" Dunk, the sneaker contains recycled materials in its construction, including the Nike Grind outsole. For its upper, we see synthetic leather in phantom and gold suede. Underfoot, the outsole comes in a gum finish.
Nike Dunk Low EMB "Chicago"
The Nike Dunk Low EMB Chicago celebrates the NBA's 75th Anniversary and was originally released back in October 2021. On the upper, we see a combination of red, white, and black on the leather panels. For the front half, we see red leather overlays contrasting the white leather base and black lace set. On the rear, the heel overlay, Swoosh, and heel tab all come in black. Underfoot, a white Dunk midsole with black accent stitching and a red rubber outsole complete the look.
Nike SB Dunk Low "BETRUE"
Originally released in November 2022, the Nike SB Dunk Low BETRUE features artwork from Xavier Schipani and celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community. Mesh material is present on the toebox and quarter panel while the overlays come constructed out of leather. Bright, vibrant yellow on the mudguard, eyestays, and laces contrasts the neutral hue of the tongue, toebox, and quarter panel. More vibrant colors are found on the Swoosh and heel portions, the latter containing artwork from Schipani. Rounding out the look is the sail midsole and silver outsole.
Nike Dunk Low "Midas Gold"
Though not part of the original Be True To Your School Collection from the '80s, the Nike Dunk Low Mida Gold takes on a similar color scheme of the Arizona State Sun Devils. Originally released in February 2022, gold hues rest on the toebox, quarter panel, collar, tongue, and lace set. Contrasting this is the red hue of the mudguard , eyestays, heel overlays, and Swoosh. Underfoot, the look is complete with a white midsole and gold rubber outsole.
Nike Dunk Low Premium "Vast Grey"
Nike ups the quality of select Dunks, and the Dunk Low Premium Vast Grey is a shining example of this. Originally released in November 2022, premium suede covers most of the sneaker with a grey hue featured on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay. A tan shade comes placed on the tongue, toebox, quarter panel, and collar. Rounding out the look is the white Dunk midsole and tan outsole.
Nike Dunk Low Graffiti "Pink"
Providing a pop of color into the Dunk lineup, the Nike Dunk Low Graffiti Pink originally released in August 2022. An all-canvas upper in black gets a mixture of pink, green, and purple in a graffiti-like design. Solid black hits on the sockliner, tongue lining, laces, and Swoosh help contrast the vibrant colors on the underlays and overlays. Sitting below this, a white Dunk midsole with black accent stitching gets paired with a black outsole.
Nike Dunk Low "Needlework" (W)
First released in April 2023, the women's-exclusive Nike Dunk Low Needlework features an intricate pattern debossed onto the Swoosh inspired by the American West. For its upper, we see an all-leather finish applied with neutral hues of sail and silver on the underlays and overlays respectively. Rope laces aid the Western theme as does the "Nike" text on the heel with its rope-like font. Underfoot, a sail midsole and silver outsole complete the look.
