Ja Morant's highly anticipated return to the court is set for the 2024-2025 NBA season, marking a pivotal moment for the young superstar. While it’s likely he’ll take the floor in his soon-to-be-released Ja 2 silhouette, Nike and Morant are keeping the excitement of the Ja 1 alive with a few more colorways. Among these is the Nike Ja 1 Flash.
Constructed with a silver mesh base, the Ja 1 Flash provides breathability and a lightweight feel on the court. Silver leather overlays are on the mudguard and forefoot, adding durability and a polished look while complementing the mesh. The sneaker also incorporates TPU elements on the Swoosh, enhancing structure and style. The heel area showcases a grey ripstop material, adding a subtle texture contrast, while the leather heel tab maintains a clean and cohesive appearance. Ja Morant's branding is prominently displayed on the tongue, featuring a distinctive split color scheme of black and green, differing between the right and left shoes. The TMT branding, Ja’s signature, is subtly positioned on the lateral heel. Underfoot, the Ja 1 Flash features a green midsole equipped with Zoom Air cushioning, ensuring responsive comfort and energy return. The look is completed with a blue and green rubber outsole, offering excellent traction for quick moves and fast-paced gameplay.
The Nike Ja 1 Flash will release on August 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
