Even before Morant and The Swoosh can officially debut the sneaker, we expect a few more Ja 1s to hit shelves. The kids-exclusive Nike Ja 1 Mystic Navy University Gold is among the latest drops.
The Nike Ja 1 Mystic Navy University Gold features a striking combination of leather, mesh, and denim. The upper is predominantly covered in shades of blue, with darker hues adorning the mudguard and the mesh panel along the midfoot. Lighter blue tones are used on the mesh toe box and forefoot overlay.
The denim overlays add a distinctive touch on the heel, where Morant's TMT signature is embroidered. The sneaker also includes cream-colored laces and gold Ja branding on the tongue, which contrasts the blue palette nicely. A blue Swoosh with yellow splatter details adds a pop of color, running along the side of the shoe. Completing the design is a cream foam midsole paired with a vibrant yellow rubber outsole, ensuring comfort and style for the young wearers.
The Nike Ja 1 Mystic Navy University Gold GS will release on July 26, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in gradeschool sizing, the retail price is set at $105.
