Ja Morant's signature sneaker line with Nike continues to captivate basketball fans and sneakerheads alike. Despite Ja Morant's setback due to shoulder surgery in January 2024, his influence in the sneaker world remains strong. As Team USA prepares for the Summer Olympics in Paris, Nike celebrates with a new patriotic colorway of the Ja 1, even if Morant cannot participate in this year's games.
The Nike Ja 1 USA features a bold and patriotic design perfect for athletes and fans. Constructed with a midnight navy mesh base, the upper provides breathability and durability. Overlays with a black safari print add texture and depth, appearing on the mudguard, eyestays, and forefoot.
A crisp white Swoosh runs across the midfoot, starkly contrasting the darker tones. The left tongue showcases Ja Morant's logo in white, while red accents on the sockliner and the right tongue tag bring vibrant pops of color. Ja's jersey number, 12, is prominently displayed in white and red on the heel, split between the right and left sneakers, respectively. The design is completed with a white foam midsole and a red and navy rubber outsole, ensuring both style and performance.
The Nike Ja 1 USA will release on July 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
