Nike has been continuing the legacy of the late Kobe Bryant by releasing fresh colorways of his signature line, creating a long-lasting impact both on and off the court. For Summer 2024, the focus shifts to the Nike Kobe 4 Protro, set to launch in an inviting aqua hue, dubbed Girl Dad.
This upcoming Girl Dad rendition of the Kobe 4 is set to turn heads with its refreshing take on the model. The sneaker features a greenish hue across most of the upper with suede placed on throughout. Metallic silver hits shine on the heel counter, which also features Kobe's signature in a bicoastal shade. Contrasting these brighter colors are the black Swoosh, laces, and sockliner. Underfoot sits a tonal foam midsole with Zoom Air cushioning paired with a rubber outsole.
Prior to this new look, early images surfaced of a pair with faux reptile skin on the upper. It's likely this pair was a sample or even an entirely different colorway.
The Nike Kobe 4 Protro Girl Dad will release on June 7, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
