The Nike Kobe 8 Protro Mambacita Releases in May 2024

As the sneaker world continues to honor the legacy of the late-great Kobe Bryant, Nike remains at the forefront by reintroducing the revered Nike Kobe line. On Kobe Day 2023, the sports giant relaunched the line, marking a new era of Kobe sneakers. Moving into Summer 2024, fans and collectors can look forward to a fresh colorway of the Nike Kobe 8, in an all-new "Mamabacita" themed iteration.
This Kobe 8 shines in a white mesh upper that comes adorned with black butterflies across its design. Black accents continue, gracing the laces, sockliner, and portions of heel overlay. Adding a touch of elegance, metallic gold embellishments are present along the Nike Swoosh, giving the sneaker a regal finish. Rounding out the look, a black midsole is set above a white rubber outsole.
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro Mambacita will release on May 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s, gradeschool, and preschool sizing, retail is set at $190 for men, $120 for GS, and $90 for PS.
