The Nike Kobe 9 Protro is set to debut in the 2024 Halo series. Both high and low-top iterations of the Kobe 9 will be a part of this collection. In addition, Nike Basketball will bring back an original colorway of the Kobe 9 for Holiday 2024.
Retroing for the first time celebrating its 10th Anniversary will be the Nike Kobe 9 Elite High Protro Christmas. This Protro stays true to its 2014 counterpart, coming in bright crimson, black, and white colorway. Bright Crimson adorns most of the sneaker, from the Flyknit upper down to the lateral guardrail and outsole.
White accents highlight this festive theme throughout. Hits of black are found on the Flywire cables, Kobe branding on the tongue, Swoosh on the lateral sides, and the carbon fiber guardrail. A Nike React drop-in midsole sits atop full-length Zoom Air, upgrading this Kobe 9 Protro from Lunarlon found on the original.
The Nike Kobe 9 Elite High Protro Christmas will release December 12, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store.
