While LeBron James and his squad on the LA Lakers may be having a rough go at it to start the 2022-2023 NBA season, his latest signature sneaker with Nike (the LeBron 20) has been coming hot out of the gates with a handful of colorways already released and plenty more on the horizon. Rivaling the vibrant shades of the upcoming “Christmas” colorway, the Nike LeBron 20 has just appeared in a “Chosen 1” colorway.
Coming to us in its typical engineered mesh construction, the silhouette appears to come straight from Bikini Bottom as it takes on shades of orange and aqua blues as well as hits of purple, neon green, and black. For most of the upper, we get an orange mesh with hits of purple weaved throughout while the neon green eyestays pop amongst the black tongue and light blue laces. For its double-Swoosh construction, deep purple takes over the upper tumbled leather logo while the lower logo comes in a sky blue matching the laces nearby, however, accent stitching borrows the same purple from the other Swoosh. Mismatched colors on the heel's logos, a pink sockliner, and a two-tone blue and salmon midsole alongside the purple and black rubber outsole complete the look for this “Chosen 1” colorway.
The Nike LeBron 20 Chosen 1 is set to release on March 10th, 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
