With LeBron James reaching the tail end of his NBA career, the design team at Nike and James himself have been looking to the next generation of athletes with the latest signature sneaker in the Nike LeBron series, the LeBron 20. As such, it only makes sense to give the kids exclusive colorways on the model. So far, we’ve seen a few colorways, such as the “Kaleidoscope” and “Young Heirs,” come to us exclusively for kids with another one added to the release calendar - “Racer Blue.”
Taking on its usual engineered mesh upper, the silhouette comes primarily in racer blue across its upper with hints of purple spotted on this portion thanks to the woven nature of the material. We also see the edge of the upper take on purple “X” stitching details while more vibrant hues, orange to be specific, land on the tongue. Accenting this is the black leather eyestay and matching lace set. More black shades take over the lateral side’s larger Swoosh while the logo just below this comes in yellow. For its lone Swoosh on the medial side, we see a green hue that matches the edge of the sockliner. Completing the colorful upper is the pink tumbled leather mudguard. Rounding out the design of the entire silhouette is the two-tone orange and cream midsole paired with a purple rubber outsole.
The Nike LeBron 20 Racer Blue GS is set to release on April 1st, 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
