After being teased throughout the summer by LeBron James’ sons Bronny and Bryce, the Nike LeBron 20 is finally receiving release dates, though the first of which has been unseen thus far. Shock dropping late at night on September 1st, via Finish Line and JD Sports, we have our best look yet at the 20th iteration of LeBron’s signature model with Nike in the “Violet Frost” colorway.
Engineered with a light purple-shaded dimensional mesh across the upper, accenting gold and red hits appear throughout. Along the eyestays sits a textured reddish leather with gold piping running along the entire collar, host to a set of tonal violet laces in a two-tone hue. LeBron’s signature is debossed on the tumbled leather tongue that accents the darker purple sockliner. Along the lateral midfoot, double Swoosh action is present with one coming gilded and the other coming in a complimentary purple shade. Back on the heel, more LBJ details are present with his crown logo attached via a leather patch. Underfoot, the Zoom Air cushioning is strategically placed by being top-loaded on the forefoot while the heel’s Zoom bag provides crucial impact protection, all of which is covered by a two-tone paisley print and solid purple foam. Rounding out the design is a white rubber outsole with an intricately designed traction pattern.
The Nike LeBron 20 Violet Frost is set to receive a worldwide release on October 22nd, 2022 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
