When the Nike Zoom LeBron 4 was originally released in 2006, various PEs were made for King James. One of them, a Fruity Pebbles edition, is considered one of the most sought-after unreleased pairs from LeBron’s entire footwear line. While we have received Fruity Pebbles iterations on past LeBron's such as the LeBron 15 and the LeBron 19 Low, those pale in comparison to the original LeBron 4. Now, following a scrapped release in December 2022, the colorway is set to hit shelves in Spring 2024.
The Nike Zoom LeBron 4 Fruity Pebbles sneaker features a white-based Foamposite upper with patent leather hits on the ankle and lace coverings. Fruity Pebbles-like graphics adorn the lining and Zoom Air cushioned midsole. The phrase "Family Size" is embroidered on the back heel pull tabs, a nod to the James family and the larger size box of Fruity Pebbles cereal. Finishing this pair off is a full translucent multi-color rubber outsole, mimicking the colors found in the popular breakfast cereal.
The Nike LeBron 4 Fruity Pebbles was originally set to release on February 23, 2024. After another delay, it will now be released on March 7 via Nike, SNKRS, and at select retailers worldwide in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizes, retail is set at $250.
