The Nike Mac Attack has had a solid run since its comeback in May 2023. A silhouette coveted by sneakerheads and collectors alike, it took Nike 39 (yes, 39!) years to finally retro the Mac Attack. Debuting in 1984 as the signature sneaker for tennis bad boy John McEnroe, the OG Light Smoke Grey was hyped up by Travis Scott and LeBron James as a test to see how a comeback would be received. After seeing numerous colorways drop along with some collabs from Social Status, Nike Sportswear has more in store for the Mac Attack in 2024.
A part of Nike's Fall 2024 Footwear Lineup, the Nike Mac Attack gets a vintage makeover, dubbed Better With Age. The Nike Mac Attack Better With Age comes in a sail, midnight navy, coconut milk, pale vanilla, and team red colorway. The upper comprises sail mesh underlays paired with coconut milk leather overlays with raw edges. Midnight Navy dresses the Swoosh on the sides and collar in cracked suede. More navy blue is found via the leather lining, Nike Air branding on the tongue tag, and solid rubber outsole. A pale vanilla-colored midsole further enhances the vintage vibe on these Mac Attacks, completing the design.
The Nike Mac Attack Better With Age is set to release on May 1, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $135. For the latest information on this and other releases, download the Sole Retriever Mobile app.
