The Nike Mac Attack is synonymous with tennis legend John McEnroe. With its origins on the tennis court, the sneaker embodies the spirit of the '80s and McEnroe’s tenacious style of play. After a hiatus, Nike rejuvenated the classic silhouette, returning the nostalgia of the OG colorway in 2023. Since then, anticipation has been building around its subsequent releases, especially given the collaborative efforts from Social Status and Travis Scott. As sneaker enthusiasts await the latest release from both partners, a fresh inline colorway is set to debut – the Nike Mac Attack in White Game Royal.
The Nike Mac Attack White Game Royal brings forth a seamless blend of craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal. Unlike the recently revealed Oil Green Ironstone colorway, this pair adopts the classic leather and mesh combo that has defined the silhouette over the years. Stark white leather overlays complement the breathable mesh base. The royal blue accents are prominently displayed on the iconic Nike Swoosh, the sockliner, and segments of the heel tab, adding a vibrant contrast to the dominantly white upper.
Another intriguing design element is the tongue tag, which sports a checkerboard pattern in black and white, further adorned with the Nike branding in a pristine white hue. This theme is echoed on the heel tab, where the Nike brand logo stands out boldly against white leather, finished in the same striking shade of royal blue. Rounding off the design is a clean white midsole juxtaposed with a durable royal blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Mac Attack White Game Royal is set to release on January 23, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
