Introduced back in 2019 at the height of the chunky dad shoe craze, the P-6000 was one of the most popular models out there, to the point that even Virgil Abloh was inspired by it for his Rubber Dunk line. While we're not entirely sure why Nike decided to put a halt to the silhouette, it's now officially back and better than ever. After checking out the "Pure Platinum" and "Varsity Red" earlier this season, we're now taking our very first look at the Nike P-6000 "Coconut Milk Medium Blue," and it's definitely one of our favorite colorways to ever hit the retro runner.
Just in case you didn't already know, the P-6000 pays homage to the Air Pegasus, and with 2023 marking the legendary line's 40th Anniversary, there's never been a more appropriate time to bring it back. Spotted here with a vintage-inspired coconut milk mesh, it's overlaid by crisp sail leather panels across the lateral and medial sides. Medium blue accents contrast the front and back of the shoe, and just in case that wasn't eye-catching enough, electric algae hits the tongue, lacing system, and toebox. All of this then sits atop a chunky pale vanilla Cushlon midsole that's as comfortable as it gets.
Releasing sometime in Summer 2023, the Nike P-6000 Coconut Milk Medium Blue will drop in men's sizes at Nike and select retailers online and in physical locations with a retail price of $120. More colorways are going to be announced within the coming months, so make sure you follow us on Twitter and download Sole Retriever'sMobile App to find out everything that you need to know and more.
