Since 1983, Nike has released a new silhouette in the Air Pegasus series every year. 2024 is no different, as Nike has officially unveiled the Nike Pegasus 41. After getting an official look at the Nike Pegasus Premium, which is set to debut in Spring 2025, we get a full breakdown of the latest in-line version from the Pegasus series.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41, which will debut in June, is an upgrade from the Pegasus 40, which was released in 2023. ReactX foam replaces React foam, providing over 13% more energy return. Thanks to reduced energy in the manufacturing process of the midsole of the Pegasus 41, the ReactX foam also cuts down on the carbon footprint by at least 43%. In addition to ReactX, Zoom Air units are featured in the forefoot and heel.
The Nike Pegasus 41 also features a lighter, more breathable engineered mesh upper than previous models. The Dynamic Midfoot Fit system ties the lacing directly into an internal midfoot band that wraps around the entire foot for complete support.
Alongside the debut of the Pegasus 41, the Pegasus EasyOn will also be released. This FlyEase system is designed for athletes with disabilities and features a toggle lacing system and collapsible heel, making the sneaker easy to slip on and off. More models from the Pegasus line will also be released throughout the year, including the Nike Pegasus Trail Gore-Tex, Nike Pegasus Winter Gore-Tex, and Nike Pegasus Trail 5.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 is set to release on June 5, 2024, in various colorways including Volt. They will be available via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex and gradeschool sizing, retail is set at $140 and $105, respectively.
